All good choices. “It’s good… but meh” sums it up best I’d say, but “uninspiring” is close and more concise. I am considering creating a new word for this, but given that I haven’t been able to articulate exactly what I mean, I’m not sure that would help matters.

Or how about saying 'Meh'?

As in: 'It's okay, but a bit... meh'

(Sounds Yiddish, but I'm not sure it is)

Not a one-word description, I know, but it's what I tend to say in similar circumstances. Way too much, come to think of it!

How about ephemeral? Captures the short-lived nature of your enjoyment, but perhaps not the quality of the music.

Warmer, closer, but not quite. You would almost certainly use “inessential” to describe them but it’s not the particular quality I’m looking for.

Not what I’m looking for. Mediocre is something average or inferior. I’m talking about stuff that is good but forgettable.
