I've avoided Internet radio since the days of trying to get said things to work well over a modem.</p><p>Here at home I just installed <a href="#//helixcommunity.org/download.php/800/realplay-10.0.2.608-linux-2.2-libc6-gcc32-i586.bin">this version of Realplayer</a> as a normal user (more download options are available <a href="#//player.helixcommunity.org/2004/downloads/">here</a> ). It installed happily into my homespace, and is currently playing <acronym title="British Broadcasting Corporation">BBC</acronym> Radio 6 (best I could think up off the top of my head) without issue.</p><p>Integration into Firefox wasn't quite so transparent: cp ~/RealPlayer/mozilla/* ~/.firefox/plugins/, but this assumes that "~/RealPlayer/" is in your $PATH before Firefox is started for the plugins to work.
