Bit late, but there are six films in the fight this month
Ricky Stanicky
#FF24 Ricky Stanicky is a farcical comedy about an imaginary friend who kind becomes real.

Cena and Efron are as dependable as always. The film is kinda sweet in places, if a little obvious. Not a masterpiece but perfectly watchable.
Good.
Drive Away Dolls
#FF24 Drive-Away Dolls is a comedy that is less than the sum of its parts.

A good cast, a great director, a fine premise - just not many laughs. It's got moments, but there's not enough for the runtime. Not bad just not particularly interesting.
Okay.
Dune Part 2
#FF24 Dune part 2 is the epic spectacle that it need to be.

The worm rider looks terrible, but everything else is incredible - the soundtrack is massive, the story feels grand and just alien enough, the performances work. An experience like little else.
Excellent.
Argylle
#FF24 Argylle feels like it missteps on almost every level.

Rockwell and Cavill come out largely unscathed, but the rest of the cast seem confused or bored. The twists are forgettable. The action sequences are visually awful. And the plot? There isn't really a plot.
Avoid.
Road House
#FF24 Road House is a cheap remake.

Gyllenhall is the only thing they’ve put money into, and he's solid. Macgregor is atrocious but looks great in the fights.
There are some genuinely excellent line deliveries but the whole thing is underwritten, and looks cheap.
Skip.
Shirley
#FF24 Shirley tells the story of the first black woman to attempt a presidential bid.

It does a good job of showing the difficulties the titular character faces, but not as much showing why we should care about her specifically. A little dry at times but decent.
Watchable.
The March Winner
The winner is Dune Part 2 and it’s not close. I’d been left a bit cold by part 1 when I first saw it, but warmed to it on second viewing - part 2 just worked for me.
