June has four films for us…
Hit Man
#FF24 Hit Man is a fun watch about a man posing as a hit man for the cops.

Powell is very good as the titular character, with the rest of the cast being solid. It's funny, keeps moving along, and has a handful of light twists. Quite light, but enjoyable.
Good.
The Bikeriders
#FF24 The Bikeriders is a sometimes heavy drama about the formation of a biker gang.

Butler sometimes works as the rebel without a cause, but his nihilism leaves him in a plot rut. Comer and Hardy are more interesting to watch. Gripping and dark.
Excellent.
Unfrosted
#FF24 Unfrosted is a badly-paced comedy about breakfast.

The plot seems to have been written around bits, rather than being something that makes sense by itself; unfortunately neither entertain. McCarthy is the only performer who comes out looking okay.
Avoid.
A Quiet Place: Day One
#FF24 A Quiet Place: Day One takes the rural, alien invasion series and moves it to the big city.

The carnage is scaled appropriately, but the human-side is lost. What it gains in spectacle it loses in caring about any of the main characters - well, except the cat.
Fine.
The June Winner
The only real choice here is The Bikeriders.
